The Postpartum Doula

A postpartum doula is there to support mom and baby, as well as other family members through the fourth trimester. I enjoy focusing on being the extra set of hands for the mother, allowing her the time to rest and rejuvenate. I am bringing with my experience from raising my four children, four and half years of breastfeeding knowledge, and my unique baby whispering touch.

I started my most important journey of becoming a mom nine years ago. It is through this journey of becoming a mom that I found my passion of supporting moms and babies. Throughout this journey I have had various titles such as mom, kindergarten teacher, coach, aunt, milky momma, friend, community member, and now postpartum doula. My biggest accomplishment has been being a mom to my two boys and two girls. I have learned so much through this journey and hope to use my experiences with other families as they navigate the fourth trimester.
